Khoudai (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a free AI chat platform operated at https://khoudai.com. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store and protect your personal data when you use our website and services.

2. Data we collect

• Account data: email address and password (hashed) when you sign up or sign in.
• Profile data: first name, country, language, profession and AI interests that you provide during onboarding.
• Conversation data: messages, uploaded files (PDFs, images, videos), generated images and conversation titles.
• Technical data: IP address, browser type, device fingerprint and approximate location, used for security, anti-abuse and referral tracking.
• Usage data: feature usage and error logs to help us improve the service.

3. How we use your data

• To provide, operate and improve the Khoudai chat service.
• To authenticate you and keep your conversations private to your account.
• To send authentication and account-related emails.
• To detect and prevent abuse, fake accounts and disposable-email signups.
• To measure traffic, run advertising and comply with legal obligations.

4. Data sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with the following service providers, and only to the extent necessary to run Khoudai:

• Synterolink — processes your messages to generate AI responses.
• Lovable Cloud / Supabase — hosts our database, authentication and storage.
• Resend — delivers authentication and transactional emails.
• Google AdSense — serves advertisements on public pages.

5. Cookies and advertising

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and functional cookies to remember your preferences. We also use Google Analytics 4 to measure traffic and understand how the service is used (pages viewed, device, approximate location, and product events such as sign-ups or messages sent), and Google AdSense, which may place cookies and use similar technologies to personalise ads. Analytics and advertising storage stay disabled until you accept them in the consent banner, and you can decline and keep using Khoudai. Google may process this data as described in its own privacy policy.

6. Marketing emails

Khoudai is free because advertising and our own communications pay for the paid AI models you use. When you create an account you agree to receive emails from us: product updates, new AI models added to the platform, and occasional partner offers that keep Khoudai free. We store the fact that you agreed, together with the date and time and a hashed IP address, as proof of consent.

We do not spam and we never sell your email address. Every marketing email includes a one-click unsubscribe link, and you can change your email preferences at any time from the Settings page. Essential account emails (sign-in confirmation, password reset, security notices) are always sent.

7. Data retention

We keep your account and conversation data for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from the Settings page. Technical logs are retained for a limited period for security and debugging purposes.

8. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the processing of your personal data. Most actions can be done directly in your account settings. For other requests, contact us at info@khoudai.com.

9. Security

We use industry-standard measures including encryption in transit, hashed passwords, row-level database security and rate limiting. No method of transmission over the internet is 100 % secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
